This major site is a rockhole called Lingka. It is where a poison water serpent resides. All of the trees here are Mulga, they take the water up from their roots to the tops of the tree. The warta (trees) signify the presence of Tjukurpa (story) at Lingka." Other sites depicted here include Tjinning and Paltu.

Simon Hogan is a senior initiated Spinifex man who has vast knowledge of country and Tjukurpa (ancestral creation stories). He enthusiastically recounts the journeying of the ancestral beings and their antics however the stories are not conveyed along a linear time line and much comprehension depends on previous knowledge so it can be difficult to follow for the unitiated.
