„Ngayuku Ngura, my country. Tjukula wati wanampi wipumutunja (One rockhole, watersnake man with a short tail). Wal Mala wati wanampi, all the watersnake men from around Malara are hunting for kuka (meat) and bring it to Malara (that rockhole). Ankuntja wiya, staying one place. The Wal Mala wati wanampi travel to Kuntjanu (a water soak) to kill the wati wanampi Kuntjanu (the snake man Kuntjanu). After that they go back to stay at Malara, and then the wati wanampi return to their own rockholes, one at Mutitjulu and other ones from around here.“
